The Prince
People may not realize the depth of his knowledge of and commitment to sustainable food systems, but Prince Charles has been farming and promoting the benefits of organic agriculture for decades. These clips (totaling about 5 minutes) from the upcoming film HARMONY provide a glimpse into the man and his work.
- From the HARMONY filmmakers:
- We are pleased to share a few clips from HARMONY, a soon to be released feature documentary inspired by HRH The Prince of Wales. HARMONY captures on film, in a way we’ve never seen before, an authentic leader on critical global issues. For the better part of three decades, The Prince of Wales has worked side by side with a surprising and dynamic array of environmental activists, business leaders, artists, architects and government leaders. They are working to transform the world, address the global environmental crisis and find ways toward a more sustainable, spiritual and harmonious relationship with the planet. The issues of sustainable agriculture and specifically the methods of food production, are featured prominently in the film. From the Prince’s own organic farm, to the Louisiana farm of Kurt Unkel, to noted physicist and international activist Vandana Shiva’s organic farm in Dehradun India, the film gives viewers a new and inspiring perspective on how we can meet the world’s challenges globally, locally and personally.
